The outsole uses recycled/repurposed rubber, and the uppers are made predominately with waste leather that is usually discarded. We added seams and stitching to the upper pattern to accommodate the smaller pieces of (waste) leather, creating an ultra-flexible, deconstructed, super comfortable casual boat shoe.
